Renal stones
Renal Stones are one of the metabolic diseases. When ones kidneys cannot filter certain amount of minerals like calcium, magnesium, phosphates they keep stored in renal system. Gradually these particles convert into stones. They can be of various types as well as various sizes. X-Ray of the system, IVP (Intra Venous Pyelography) & Sonography can rule out the condition.


Generally stones are silent. But when it moves in the system, patient feels pain. Sometimes the intensity of the pain is very severe that make patient very restless. While acute pain patient may feel nausea & vomiting. Pain occurs mainly in lower back toward to lower abdomen. Sometimes patient gets heamaturia (blood passes through urin) if the stone is in urethra(urine pipe). Frequently urinary infection, burning while urination, incontinence of urine may rule out the condition.
Gall Stones
Again a metabolic disease. Out body has a storage for bile called Gall Bladder. When the bile get concentrated in gall bladder it becomes like stone. Gall stones can be found one to many in numbers. Sonography can rule out the condition.


In majority of cases it is silent & accidentally diagnosed. Though indigestion, abdominal heaviness, abdominal discomfort may be there. Sometimes patient gets acute abdominal pain.
Diseases of the Digestive System
Mouth Ulcers & Stomatitis are diseases of mouth. One or more ulcers can be present at a time. The reasons for this condition are

Vitamin Deficiency
Tobacco consumption
Ingestion of very hot or spicy food

Dyspepsia is the term for not having desire to eat. It is mainly a symptom in Allopathy but, is a separatedisease in Ayurveda. In this condition patient gets anorexia i.e. loss of appetite. The reasons for the condition are

Tension –Anxiety
Some illness like fever, TB. Etc
Consumption of some medicines

Indigestion is the condition when one cannot digest taken food. This may happen due to some reasons like

Over eating
Intake of stale food
Late night meal

Indigestion is a symptom for some disease, and not a individual disease. However in Ayurveda, it has its own importance as Ayurveda do believe that all the diseases arises via indigestion. Patient may feel heaviness in abdomen, anorexia and nausea. Sometimes it appears along with diarrhea &/or vomiting.

Piles & fissures : the main cause for this conditions is constipation. When stool gets very hard, the sight of defecation gets erosions and cuts. This is known as fissures. Sometimes it associates with bleeding. Patient has complaint of severe pain in fissure.

When in the end part of large intestine and anus gets swelled, the veins of that portion get dilated. This is called piles. There are two types of piles. 1)Internal 2)External.

Patient has severe pain even while sitting & passes blood before or after &/or in between defecation. Blood loss may be heavy sometimes, so patient may develop anemia.
Skin Disorders
Acne, Pimples are most common skin disorders in these days. There are number of other like, vitiligo, leucoderma, itching the body, eczema, dermatitis, urticaria, psoriasis. Some of these are infectious and some

are allergic. The treatment of skin diseases is very crucial and important as, if be ignored they can become chronic & hard to be cured. Skin diseases can make patient restless, irritable, introvert & breaks down his confidence.
Hair problems
Falling of hairs, and graying of hairs are major hair problems. Falling hair is characterized by the term alopecia. That is mostly seen in men. These are the causes for falling hair & graying hairs in young age.

Spicy & oily food
Insufficient sleep
Taking some medicines
Deficiency of calcium, or iron.
Gout is again a metabolic disorder. Ones kidneys fails to filter proteins & its by products so, the person have some complications that is called gout.


Swelling & redness in small joints
Severe pain
There are number of reasons for headache, migraine is one of them. Migraine is sometimes hereditary. On severity, it associates with nausea-vomiting & vertigo or giddiness. Usually pain starts on sun rise and subsides with sun sets. Patient may have pain in a particular region of head. Once pain is established, it is very difficult to control it. Migraine puts patient restless, & irritable.

Hyper Tension
Hyper Tension or High Blood Pressure is one of the most common diseases found now days. The term indicates that body shows more than normal Blood Pressure. Normally the Blood Pressure of the human body is 120/80 mmhg. Reasons for getting high BP are as below:

Junk food
Salty diet
Insufficient sleep
Angry or Aggressive nature
Renal failure

Symptoms of Hyper tension are varied by individuals, but some of are mostly common, like, uneasiness, headache, vertigo or giddiness, lethargy or fatigue, irritability. Sometimes it appears with no symptoms or signs. Patient comes to know about having BP accidentally when he/she have to masseur BP for any reasons. Hyper Tension is a silent killer just like Diabetes. If ignored, it can damage vital organs like eyes, kidneys, lever, heart and brain. Uncontrolled BP can lead to Heart Attack, stroke, paralysis, renal failure, blindness. It can keep patient in coma or in vegetable state.
Diabetes Mellitus
Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is popularly known as Diabetes. Excessive sugar in plasma or in urine is known as having diabetes. It is the most common lifestyle disease in India. It is said that India is the capital of Diabetes. Normal range of sugar level are, 126 mg/dl in Fasting(10 hours empty stomach) , 140 mg/dl on 2 hours after regular meals, or 200 mg/dl for random (anytime in day)The main reasons for diabetes are as below:

Tension or stress
Central Obesity
High calorie diet
Medicines (steroid)
Secondary to some diseases

Symptoms of DM are poly urea ( excessive urination), poly hydria(excessive thirst), dizziness, fatigue, leg pain, muscular pain. It is the silent killer as sometimes patient don’t get any kind of symptoms. DM must be kept in tight control otherwise it may lead to retinopathy (damaged eyes/blindness), gastropathy (failure of digestive system), nephropathy (kidney failure), neuropathy (failure of nervous system), heart attack.

DM is not a single disease, but a bunch of many associated diseases. Due to DM, patient’s immunity gets suppress, diabetic patient is more likely to have any sort of infection. Urinary tract infection is very common in diabetics. Foot ulcers, impotency may occur if diabetes is uncontrolled.
